Tryout registration will open by Mid-February for all new and returning players interested in our 2025 Fall Travel Teams. All players must pre-register for tryouts below. All new and returning players must attend a tryout session. There is no fee for tryouts. Teams are formed and finalized after tryouts.

Detailed tryout schedules with sessions for each birth year will be released and emailed to all registered participants 2 weeks prior to each tryout date.

There is no cost to tryout. All players must be registered. Tryout registration does not guarantee a spot on the team. Once you complete tryout registration you will receive a confirmation email. Please make sure all contact information is correct.
Fall Travel Teams are formed after tryouts in the Spring and practices do not begin until August.
Travel teams are determined by birth year NOT age. Below are our travel teams for Fall 2025.

Roxborough United Soccer Club offers travel teams for age groups U7-U14 for both boys and girls and U15 for girls. On February 13, 2019 the Philadelphia Union announced an official youth development partnership with Roxborough United Soccer Club. In 2020 Roxborough United extended their partnership by becoming a Philadelphia Union Club Affiliate. Roxborough United Soccer Club is dedicated to bringing a high quality youth soccer program at an affordable cost. An announcement will be made when registration is open with schedule for tryouts for our travel teams.
All travel teams are broken down by birth year. To determine your child's team eligibility please review the Birth Year Chart for Travel Teams.
Our travel teams may play in Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Soccer League or Inter-County Soccer League in the fall. Practices are held twice a week and in-season Union club training is included with your fall registration. Both are held locally. Games are held on either Saturday or Sunday, game days depend on the league. There are possible weeknight games. Typically half of the season games are held at our home field and the other half are played away.
If you are interested in joining a team and you may register for tryouts below if there is availability. A coach will be in contact with you for an evaluation or to join the team. If you do not see an age appropriate team for your child that means that team is currently full and unable to take additional players.
